List a card on your Shopify store in about ten seconds, and keep it priced against the market without touching a spreadsheet.

How it works
Four steps, then it is just running.
There is no import, no CSV, and no second system to keep in step with the first. It installs into the admin you already use.
Install it
It runs inside your Shopify admin, as a tab alongside everything else. There is no separate login and no import.
Connect your pricing key
Toploader prices cards from PulseAPI. You bring your own key, so lookups run on your account and your data stays yours. It is encrypted at rest and never reaches the browser.
Search and add
Type what is printed on the card. Set the quantity and the price per condition — market is already filled in — and press add.
It is on sale
A real Shopify product, with images, a description, tags and inventory at the location you chose, published to the sales channels you ticked.
Adding stock
Quantity, price, done — per condition.
Every condition arrives with its own real market price already filled in, so the common case is typing a quantity and pressing add. Near Mint through Heavily Played are separate prices from the market, not a percentage guessed off the top one.
- A condition only becomes a variant if you have one, or already had one listed — so one Near Mint stays one Near Mint, not five empty options on your storefront.
- Cost is optional and stays yours: it never appears on the storefront, and it is what makes the margin visible when a price moves.
- The product that lands has images, a description, the set and number, and the tags your collections are built on.
Price changes
A short list you can actually read.
Toploader re-checks the market for your stock on a rotation, then shows you what moved — with the number it was priced against, so the percentage can be checked rather than believed. Accept, decline, or put all the rises up at once.
- A move has to clear a percentage and a cash amount before it makes the list. Thirteen percent of a £45 card is worth a click; the same on a £1.20 common is 16p, and a list nobody reads is worse than no list.
- Declining means something. The card is re-baselined against today’s market, so it does not come back tomorrow asking the same question.
- Anything that looks like a data glitch rather than a real move is held back for a look, never offered as one click.

Your stock
What you hold, and what it is worth today.
One row per product, one pill per condition, with the market price beside it. Singles, sealed and slabs sit in the same list because they are all just stock.
- Sold out drops to draft with its URL intact, ready for the next copy — Shopify listings are not deleted behind your back.
- Remove retires the listing; forget just stops tracking it and leaves your Shopify product exactly as it is.
- Delete something in Shopify admin and the row here clears itself, and says so rather than letting stock quietly vanish.

It prices your way, not ours.
Sell at a percentage of market, round how you round, and never go below a floor you set. Then decide how big a move has to be before it is worth interrupting you for.
- The rotation is capped by you — how many cards per run, and how many days the whole list takes to come round. That cap is what makes the running cost flat.
- Change a price by hand in Shopify admin and that becomes the new baseline. Setting a price yourself is pricing, and it will not be written over.
- Turn the automatic checks off entirely and run them when it suits you.
Pricing rules
Toploader never changes a price on your store by itself. It refreshes market prices and tells you what moved; you decide.
Tell me when a price moves by
Both have to be met. A 13% move on a £45 card is £6 and worth a look; the same 13% on a £1.20 common is 16p and is just noise.

Search the way cards are written
A name, a set code and number, 199/165, a bare 094, or a product id pasted from somewhere else. All of them land on the same card, and all of them beat typing a name.
Singles and sealed
Booster boxes, elite trainer boxes and bundles come from the same box as singles, and land as proper products rather than a line you typed twice.
Graded slabs stay separate
A PSA 10 is not a condition of the raw card — it is its own product with its own market, its own URL and its own grade shown on the listing. Tick a box in search to include them.
Every condition has a real price
Near Mint through Heavily Played each come from real market data, not a percentage guessed off Near Mint. A condition only becomes a variant if you actually have one.
Prices refreshed on a rotation
Stalest first, a fixed number per run, so the whole of your stock comes round on a cycle you set — at a flat, predictable cost rather than a bill that scales with your catalogue.
A queue, not a robot
Nothing on your store changes price by itself. Moves that clear both a percentage and a cash threshold turn up as a short list you accept or decline — one click for all the rises.
Obvious nonsense is held back
A card showing +400% is usually a data glitch, and a £300 box showing £3 is the same glitch pointing the expensive way. Moves that large are flagged for a look, never offered as one click.
Your edits are not written over
Change a price by hand in Shopify admin and Toploader takes that as the new baseline instead of quietly putting its own number back. Setting a price yourself is pricing.
Sold out keeps its page
A card that sells out drops to draft with its URL intact, ready for the next copy. Nothing gets deleted behind your back, and nothing you remove here is deleted from Shopify.
How it is built
Three decisions everything else follows from.
Shopify stays the source of truth
There is no second inventory database to reconcile. Products, variants, quantities and cost live in your store, exactly where your accountant, your staff and every other app already look. Toploader keeps only enough of an index to find things again.
Every write is absolute
A push sends the whole current state, never a difference. So a retry, a re-sync or a run that half-finished converges on the right answer instead of drifting a little further from it each time.
It asks before it moves money
The rotation refreshes what the market says and raises a review. The price on your storefront changes when you click. That is not timidity — it is how a shop comes to trust the numbers, which is the point at which more automation is worth having.
Questions
The ones a shop owner actually asks.
Will it change my prices without asking?
No. Toploader refreshes market data and shows you what moved; the price on your store changes when you accept it. There is a one-click "put all the rises up" for the days you do not want to read a list, and that is as automatic as it gets today.
What does it cost to run?
Price lookups run on your own PulseAPI key, so the spend is yours, visible, and capped by you: you set how many cards get checked per run and how often the whole list comes round. The app shows the lookups you have left today in the corner of every screen.
Do I need a paid PulseAPI plan?
Searching and adding stock work on any plan, including the free one. Automatic price refresh leans on the batch endpoint, which is paid-only — on a free key the rotation still runs, but it checks a much shorter list each time and tells you plainly why.
Where does my stock actually live?
In Shopify. Toploader does not keep its own copy of your inventory, so there is nothing to reconcile and nothing to migrate if you stop using it — your products, prices and quantities are already where they should be.
Which games does it cover?
Pokémon is where the deepest pricing data and the most demand is, so that is where it works today. Nothing in how it is built cares which game a card belongs to.
