TCGMotion started because running a card shop meant doing two jobs: the trading you love and the admin you don’t. We automate the second one so you can spend your week on the first.
How we got here
From a Sunday night script to a shop floor platform.
A spreadsheet gets out of hand
Two shop floors, 40,000 singles and a pricing routine that ate every Sunday. The first version of TCGMotion was a script that repriced one shop’s Shopify overnight.
Other shops ask for it
Word travelled at the trade shows. The script became a platform: scan intake, channel sync, and a till that finally understood set codes.
The counter comes together
Buylist kiosks land in their first stores. Intake drops under three seconds a card. Stores stop running two systems that disagree.

Automation should execute your policy, not replace your judgement. Every rule, floor and buy rate belongs to you — and anything the system is unsure about comes to a human instead of quietly going live.
Boring reliability beats clever
A card shop on a Saturday cannot wait for a fix. We would rather ship a plain feature that never falls over than a clever one that needs watching.
No hostages
Month-to-month after the initial term, full data export whenever you ask, no commission on your sales. If we are worth keeping, we should have to earn it every month.
We do not compete with our customers
TCGMotion does not sell cards. We will never use your buy rates, your sales data or your customer list to trade against the shops that pay us.

We hire slowly and mostly from the hobby. If you have run a shop, judged an event or built retail software that had to survive a Saturday, we would like to hear from you.
